Well I try to..

Dang thing is all out of balance. I would try and find one of the older Zagi's. Mine is the new XS and I had to put like 6 oz of weight in the nose to get it flying right.
It still isn't correct.

They're great if you get a good model, the one I have isn't made anymore(400X), but it flies pretty good on a 1700 pack. I've crashed it countless times(Low altitude tip stalls suck!) They definitely take the abuse everyone says they do.

I fly an XE2 and a Mini XE frowm www.combatwings.com

The XE2 has a 3 turn Mega brushless and Jeti Advanced controller, the Mini has a 3 Turn Aveox and CC Phoenix 25 controller...

Both are awesome and very durable

I fly the XE2 Combat Wing (like Galifrey) The wing itself is $69 minus rx and servos or you can buy a complete kit for ~$219 (brushed motor).

I'm running a brushless motor (Mega 16/15/3), 45amp ESC and a LIPO battery (4amp, 3s2P). With this set-up my wing can fly around 100mph+ These things are very tough. I've hit the ground during a ~100mph low speed pass and cart wheeled it down the field with damage only to the prop.

These wings fly much better then Zagi's and if built correctly...can handle speeds near 130mph!!!!

The Unicorn is also a popular wing.

The Smack is also a good alternative, they come out of the North East. Not sure who makes them.

Wouldn't be without one, they are great fun, not the easiest things to fly (or launch ) but are a scream when you get a group together for some combat.

Go for a brushless motor setup, with a Lipo battery.

Oh, just watch out for the Mega 16/15/3 that Galifrey mentioned, I believe that's a motor designed for Ducted Fans, and it can discharge Lipos too quickly if you get the setup wrong !. A 16/15/5 (I use) or 16/15/4 (a mate uses) are a tad safer for your lipo's.

Thanks for the info Janek! Gotta be careful and make those Li-Po's last as long as we can.
