Lol Luke, shame I was only 1 at that time so I don't remember it. Wish I was a bit older so I could have seen what it would be like to wear my jacket unzipped while outside.

Guess I shouldn't complain too much, at least the temp agrees with the 10 pounds of titanium I have for a left knee now. I got to tell you, when the temp drops I get real sluggish with the leg. It's turned into a very accurate barometer sensor, too!

Chicago seems to be about 6°C with no wind at the moment, so maybe if I don't gloat anymore I'll get off easy

It's called a beautiful white powdery covering that makes the scenery romantic. You don't go out to freeze your a$$ off, you use it to get your wife/gf/significant other to share a hot jacuzzi with you, drinking wine and looking at the white stuff outside.

Do I have to teach you everything???

Don't often get temperatures like that over here, -22C or similar, so don't have much experience of it. Hopefully that is cold enough for the air to be dry, so maybe it doesn't feel as bad as it sounds.

Mostly we just seem to get cold damp miserable days where the cold goes right through you. Wet snow, that sort of thing. Always seems nicer on the really cold bright days, so hopefully it is at least like that for you.

Got a new flying technique. Nip out, any dry conditions, nip back in for a 20 min warm, one battery at a time, works a treat. Trying to keep my flying up even as the winter sets in.
