Default ap2000i - What is it?

Is this like a gyro but it uses light from the horizon to keep the heli level for photography? I saw IR mentioned so I assume it is using light.

Its a mixer that uses the FMA IR sensor to detect difference between the sky and ground. Or it could also be used for flybarless head mixer.
Mark Webber, a regular poster in teh AP section on this site, brings them in.

Angelos is the mastermind that builds them and all the other outstanding spartan products. He posts here too sometimes.

Thanks Mark I moved the small spektrum RX to the other side of the heli just to be safe. I wasn't have any control problems at all, but still. You know how it is in AP.
I'm still waiting on that X9303 to come in so I can make the most of my AP2000i.
Also, that new gyro is looking very interesting...
