In flight tail issue
While flying my msrx the tail motor acts like its stopping. Usually starts about mid way througha battery. Example, say in a turn the the tail stops and the bird yaws all crazy. Replaced the tail. Same issue. Replaced the main (its out of an msr but that's besides the point). Same issue. Im also using a few different batteries and not running B2B. Any ideas? If its a board I'm going to scrap it.

I'm waiting for the LHS to get some new mains in stock. I kinda felt like it was a high current draw as well. As far as I can tell all the connections are solid.

Don't scrap the heli because of a board. You can get one cheap off ebay. Only $20 shipped from a couple of sellers.
How old are your batteries? Have they been well maintained? Are they still taking a full charge? They may be on their way out causing the issue. |

I've had all 4 batteries since Christmas. All eflite, 3 25c and one 45c. The 45 has been used maybe half as much as the 25s. Before getting the dx6i they hit lvc a few times. Admittedly I was unaware I could be damaging them at the time. Each battery might have 2 flights a day. Think they are all toast?

These micro batteries never lasted much past 50 flights for me. Get some new 45c and a BL mod. I set my timer at 3-3:30.

Probably. One easy way to find out. . . http://www.ebay.com/itm/360838107580...84.m1436.l2649
Are you using a smart charger so you can monitor them when charging and store them at the proper voltage? |

Nope. Rockin the single port one that came with the msr. With learning to fly I have put a lot of money into parts on this thing and am kind of done with the fixed pitch game. Seeing as I now wear parts out before I brake them; if I spend any more money it will be on a nano cpx, fresh batteries and a decent charger. Seeing as that is all a good chunk of change it might be a while before I'm airborne again.
