Just very slightly drill out inside the ball links before screwing these in. Sorry I can't remember which size drill bit I used. Better to drill out slightly than risk splitting a link though.

I dont know what length or size you need but lunsford makes them for rc cars from 2mm on up in dia. Lenths vary just have to look or perhaps call them ... I never understood coming from rc cars the the swash links are as flimsy as they are considering the ball cups seem like they would be a better choice but I dont know

One thing, when I'm adjusting them, I turn the rod with the tool while stopping the ball link from turning with long nose pliers. Sorta have to go between the top one and bottom one a bit at a time. Also, work out with both linkage rods which way up is left or right hand thread, and install 'em both the same way up on the heli, otherwise it just gets confusing when your making the adjustments from one grip to the other. Hope all that makes sense.

I am not familiar with those: so they allow length adjustment without having to pop off the ring from the ball link?

Yes, they are essentailly metal rods with DIFFERENT threads on each end. One side is right hand thread and the other side is left hand thread. Turn the rod one way and it draws the two ends together, the other way it moves them away from each other.
