Default Getting the vibes out of the tail.

Getting this setup has not been too hard but the belt is the issue. The motor belly is nice and loose and I have had the tail belt different tightness. Were it slapped against the boom a bit to pretty snug. You can feel the belt notchy ness on the tail.

Is the belt twisted in the tail? Remember just tighten the tail halves till they no longer move on the boom

If you feel notchyness on the tail, then either a bearing is bad (happened to me once, was a tail box bearing), or you have your belt twisted in the boom.

I haven't maiden mine yet just test spool on the bench (its our dinner table actually ).My belt tension I think is at medium. During spooling (throttle curve is still linear), from low to mid, the heli spooled up very nice and smooth but when at mid stick, there some small vibes that seems to came from the tail boom near the pulley. At high stick, the tail would turn to the left....no blades on the main and tail. I haven't done any checking on the boom/belt yet.
