Default Does anyone make LED's on a flexable string

I hape the peel and stick LED's, I had a heli all done and ended up ripping them all off and wasting $20 in LED's because they just would not stay where I put them. I was going to CA glue them all on but I didn't end up doing that. LED's on a string would be perfect IF someone made them.

Thumbs up

My friend "Sewerfly" uses hot glue or some shoe goo to hold them in place works well.

I always use scotch tape. The good kind with the red plaid on the packaging, not that cheap dollar store magic tape.

Especially on the tail boom. I was concerned about shorting out the leds on a metal tailboom.

I guess if you wanted to be neater you could use shoe goo or some other kind of glue.

I have an led strand which isn't sticky on the back, so I put down some double sided tape then used regular sticky tape over the top of it. Its holding on REALLY well, specially considering I fly the canopy during the day as well (hate flying without a canopy and don't have another one yet).
Only just started to peel away at the nose after about 30 flights.

Leave the sticky backing on and just Ziptie them where ever you want them held. Around the boom is easy. On a canopy nake a hole on both sides of the LED strip and wrap it with the ziptie. Make up a canopy for nightflying only and you have quick and easy setup/removal if you dont have a dedicated night rig.
