Default did something wrong!!
soldered flexible strip lights (from hobbyking) to the board of dji f450 by the esc connection..worked for a few days...then i went to power up the quad and strip lights would not light up and the motors won't arm..i then tried to connect the light strips to the balance connector on the lipo (still soldered) and the lights worked and the motors armed..uplug the balance connector and motors shut down....can anyone explain what could of happened and how to fix it...i am using a 4mm bullet connector on the 3s lipos...i tried 3 different fully charged lipos and still same results...

you might have a broken wire between the battery and the esc

Do you have any pics of you soldering?
