I have been flying with MsComposite blades for years. I order them directly from their factory in the Czech republic. http://www.mscomposit.net/

I have a history with MS Composite. They have a bad history of pumping out a bunch of product and then falling off the face of the planet for several months. Its almost like they make some money and then go off and party till it runs out and then come back and repeat the process.

Hmm, thousands of flights with mine. Pushing them way way past their spec rpms. Not a single failure yet.
I can only speak for 3 sizes of them though.

At this time, you can only order them through an email.

just off the phone with Jan Hess from MSComposit.
He said that their webshop is just being redone which is going to take until after christmas, after which they will be orderable from tgeir online shop directly. in the meantime if you want to have a set of blades please send him an email to: jhess@mscomposit.com with the size and the address and they will come back to you with price and shipping etc.. cheers MB |

Sorry to bring this back from the dead... sorta.
But does anyone have any experience with the MS Composite Rapid blades? How do they compare to Edge or Rail? Not much info anywhere on them.

Helidirect has them in stock. I have a set of 690's on the way to try out.

Re: MS Composite Rapid blades
Wasn't impressed by the craftsmanship, but I had an early design. The ones at HD are different judging by their stock photo.

I received my rapid 690's yesterday and checked them out today. I have to say I'm also not impressed with the materials. They have plastic end caps on them and the graphics are stickers instead of paint. Not a good first impression but I'll reserve the rest of my judgement until I fly them. I'm going to try them on a trex 700e first. I've used several different blades on this heli before so it's a good test bed and I know the machine well.

Got 4 flights on the rapid blades today. They have excellent cyclic response. I have the vbar on my 700e on 110 and these blades are fast on cyclic response. That is the only thing I really like about them though. Collective response is acceptable, they stop pretty good and have decent pop but not as good as other blades. They auto well so long as you don't try aerobatic autos with heavy cyclic input. They seem to suffer in high speed stability. I noticed some pitching in fff that I didn't experience with the previous blades. Perhaps it could be tuned out in the vbar but I think I'm going to try the new align 700 blades tomorrow. The rapid blades are going into the back up stock. Overall I wouldn't buy these again.

I tried out the 690 blades yesterday on some flights and was happy with the performance. I could not duplicate the pitching that you describe in fff. The cyclic is very quick and the stops are hard and the pop is awesome. I am comparing to Maverick G5 and SAB stock blades on Goblin 700. I'll admit that I purchased the blades because they looked cool. I also read the reviews here before purchase so I wasn't expecting much, but I have to give these higher marks than you guys did. Maybe I need to try some of the blades you guys are comparing to because the only other blades that I have flown are Align.
