There are the CW and CCW stop gains, they're hidden in the advanced menus now, adjust those until the bounce has gone. From memory I've had to raise the stop gain 5% - 10% on the CW direction to get rid of the bounce I had.

You'll probably go to the Tail menu first, then get to the Advanced parameters from there.

But the rest is really good, my cyclic gain is 35 , tail 50 . im in the basic menu
If the bounce is large and/or soft, you might try to increase the deceleration by 100 degrees at a time and see if it takes care of it.

If the bounce is small and sharp, you might try reducing the stop gain by 5% at a time and see if that eliminates it.

Please let us know what works for you and what values you arrived at!

If I can piggy back your question too please, I have a small and sharp bounce on sudden CCW stops, which I have just reported in the V3 first impressions flight reports thread. From your description here Bob, I take it I just go down 5% at a time on the CCW stop gain and see what happens?

Thanks.

it is soft , but the amount of bounce is about 2".

it was there with tail gain from 35 where i started to 53 where i started to see slight wag in backwards flight. i ended up at 50 it felt solid in backwards flight with no wag.

i will try the advance menu and deceleration today first , if that does not help

i will try the stop gain second

Sutty,

On the Warp, I had some wag on piro stops that I was able to eliminate by reducing stop gains by 5%. I would try that on yours and see if it helps.

On my Gaui, I did not have to touch anything on the tail.

Got to try it yesterday. Went up on deceleration by 100, ended up at 3500 same as acceleration. Also turned my ccw gain down because it was making noise on stops, cw stops really good now, no noise.

I also tried the hover trim but i dont think it went thru. Had my col under half stick, got the trim to say "hover" then i hovered for about 15-20 seconds and landed. It still said hover.

Im using the castle gov so my throttle is flat N 30-30-30-30, idle1 70-70-70-70, and idle2 is 100-100-100-100. Not sure if thats why it did not work.

i always get a solid blue light before i fly, but thats good info to know.

my dx8 pots are pretty crappy, i have to check them regularly in the dx8 live monitor.
if they are off i do a stick calibration in the dx8. and that fixes it

No, the Trim Flight doesn't factor in what your throttle curves are.

I'm using those same curves on my Warp and have never had a problem with a Trim Flight not working.

Are you saying you hovered without touching the cyclic stick for 15 to 20 seconds?

i will go up higher next time and not touch the cyclic for as long as i can 10-15 seconds at least.

thanks Bob
