Default Where can I find this part?

Where can I find this part?

MSH50071, pulley guide support.

It is the guide holder that mounts to the frame right next to the pinion. I damaged mine recently and I dont see this part number listed for sale at Amain or MS Helidirect.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Doug

Thanks for the offers! That is really cool.

The item listed by Jumma is what I need. I will order from them. Doesnt hurt to have a spare ARB.

Thanks again.

I bet a bunch of us (me anyways!) have that holder part left over from needing a new AR bracket, so yeah good part to have on hand.

LOL.. not a problem.. But I have to ask.. After over 300 flights. 7 8 crashes.. two additional rekit crashes.. I have yet to break that part.. That must have been a heluva crash lol... Unless the bearing got hot, that would do it, been there too.

And Jumna.. no my brother you are not alone..I have at least 6

Oh, this one is ALL my doing! Haha.

I run a Talon 90. I have been running it in regular mode as far as gov is concerned. Just using TCs in the TX.

I thought I would setup the gov. I already went through the process of end points when I installed the Talon so why not use it? I set up the numbers wrong. I used the wrong number of teeth on the pinion, main gear, and the wrong number of poles.

I found some conflicting info at initial setup and didn’t do enough research. I ended up having the thing way over the RPM limit by using the wrong numbers. In normal mode it was sounding just fine. I take it to a decent altitude and flip it into IdleUp and it had a low roar sound as it sped up. I had the rpms in system set at 1900 N and 2200 IU. I am sure there is a way to figure out what rpms I really had but I am not sure how. The low roar I am hearing has me concerned, I bring it in for a close look while in hover and slow pirouette. It is looking very stable and no visible vibrations. It is very responsive and all seems well. I fly it around do some mild stuff (I have only been flying a year so I am not that good yet) big fast loops, flips, some short time inverted, huge 180 stall turns. Then we get some heavy gusts so hover and wait them out, at the same time I lose lift and hear the motor spin up. Belt had come off. I float it in for a hard landing. No visible damage but the belt is off.

Once I got it home and saw the pulley was gone and the bracket that hold it looked like it had been filed down with a dremel tool using a sanding drum. Black plastic dust EVERYWHERE!

I spun out the pulley and the belt ate the part. The belt didn’t break either... I don’t plan to use it though. I have a backup.

That little part was the only one I had to replace. I got lucky on that one.

I have since manually counted the teeth on the pinion and the main to make sure I have that correct numbers. I have also placed pics of the motor here to make sure I have right number of poles. Several agreed it is the 10 pole motor. I had it setup as 14.

Using the correct numbers I have programmed the Talon to run 2000 N and 2200 IU. I have a tach I use when flying my CLPA plane and I plan to use it on the ground and see the RPMs before I fly it. Once I know the RPMs are what I am telling the Talon to use I can go a little more in IU. At least that is my plan...

I am still learning all of this stuff but having a blast doing so.

Thanks for all of your help so far....

I finally got to test my repaired protos. It was a costly one at $11.00, whew!

I tested the RPMs with the tach. In normal it was showing 1950 and the setting in the esc is 2000. In IU it was showing 2150 and the setting is 2200. It appears I have it setup correctly.

Thanks
Doug
