So having a couple glasses of wine before you cut out the stickers is the secret? Dang all I have is Pabst Blue Ribbon will that work?

Ewwwwwww lol.....there not bad to cut out if you use an exacto knife with [scissors {damn I forgot how to spell scissors lol}]. But it does take awhile. The hard part is getting everything straight and both sides lined up. Plus if you have bigger hands handling those decals is a joke too. I used tweezers but it wasn't much easier. Now I now why they don't cut them for you and why they don't put them on lol.

Well worth the time though. I'm gonna order some pink tail and rotor blades tonight lol.

I always spray some water with a tiny drop of dish liquid on the surface where the sticker goes. That makes the sticker moveable. Water dries, sticker sticks

If u dont need the decals i have an idea to put them to use...let me know if u still have them cause im thinking of making my own canopy and the decals will "spice" it up

I've bought numerous Xtreme mCPX canopies and have several of the decal sheets with un-used decals...some I used, some I did not

If you want some, Jay, PM me your address and I'll fire off an envelope

I dont think they will stick good to acrylic. My corners on mine are already peeling back. Acrylic is kind of a pasty rough surface. I would put some clear coat on it and then put them on and clear it again or you might even what to experiment with shellac? I don't know how good those decals will hold up with a clear coat over them either?????? Definitely try some options out before trying anything on your canopy. Also you might want to look up decals that are meant to be clear coated over because I know the ones I sent you are more like stickers than actual decals.

I got the ones from jonjet and i stuck a couple bolts on the window portion (separated two for painting) and it stuck fine...i dont have any clear coat and $7 for a one time clear coat isn't too appealing so i'll go for the matte finish and I'll post a few pics when i get home.....its looking pretty good and i'll do a little more masking and painting before the final result...although it kinda looks weird with the flat color and no shine

How and what did you make the canopy out of? And you didn't get mine yet? I hope our stupid mail man didn't loose them! (I think he is a crack head or something) I put them in the mailbox in front of the house so it's a risky crap shoot if it gets to you or not lol. Hopefully it gets there tomorrow.

I used a stock canopy and painted over it with acrylic paint since I've got like 5-6 of them in my parts bin just hanging....i tried dipping in brake fluid to remove paint and paint inside for a better finish but ended up breaking the canopy to bits (already cracked) and decide against the BF trick and i might overlay with tape or a polyurethane clear coat but then again i don't feel like wasting money on this one project and the matte isn't half bad.....I'll post pics soon.....

Im gonna try masking a little more for maybe stripes or other effects but i dont have any white paint

I didn't receive yours yet but my mailman gets to my house at 5:00 or so.

Nice glow effect! I've got a blue/white V911 canopy on it's way, that I'm hoping will emanate that blue light in a similar fashion. I even found a matching blue/white Nano tail fin. Throw on some glow-in-the-dark blades, and you'll have the ultimate Glow Nano for indoor evening flight. haha...
