no tones on setup

I am setting up my Jive 80 HV with a skookum 720, I have the skookum all setup and everything works great. Now I have moved on to the esc setup. I have the jumper in, plug in the battery and I don't hear any tones. I have the motor plugged in, throttle stick in the low position, transmitter is bound, any ideas? I am at a loss

I figured it out. I had to set the low throttle endpoint to 110 instead of 100 in order for the esc to read zero. Anyone else have to do this on a DX8?

you should reprogram and then it will learn what your end points. make sure you program it correctly as per the manual and it will learn your end points. so set them back to 100%
