I reckon the missing manual, setup software & maybe some FW fine tuning is the reason why they are not shipping it today

Odd... When I ordered my preorder Whiplash back in Feb I was never charged until it was ready to actually ship.

I guess some prefer paying in advance for an unfinished product? To each his own...

Actually, I think it is time to can the thread since it has ran its coarse and do just this? I don't think JC ever realized this would become one of the most viewed threads here in the Skookum section.

Skookum said that the 720 black is delayed because some of the components they were going to use are out of production. I assume that they will have to redesign it for some new components. That will require through hardware testing and maybe some firmware modifications. He was not very specific so there is no way to know it it’s going to be a minor change or a total redesign.

When I started the thread it was to get the latest info on the GPS and Black units. I had no idea it would evolve into what it has. Some got off topic for a while I just decided to let it run still hopeing for that information. I was kinda looking for direct info from Skookum but, they don't seem to want to be involved in a highly viewed thread about there product go figure. This is part of the reason I moved on to another FBL system instead of waiting on SK.
