Default Ebar vs beastx

Hey guys. I know this should probably go in the electronics section but there is no ebar section yet.

I dont currently have a KDS heli but it is my next one with 90% certainty. The belt thing is the only thing holding me back. Anyway, I am upgrading my radio to a Futaba 14sg from Spectrum. My current heli is a TR500. Barely flying it yet as I am a new pilot and real life has gotten in the way. However with me upgrading my radio my current system is an AR72000 which is the all in one beastx and receiver. So my question is. Do I get another beast x to replace it or should I look at the ebar. I really only ask as I like to keep my electronics the same as much as possible. Once I get my KDS heli down the road I didnt know which system you pilots like better. I know you team flyers probably have to run ebar so your input is valid if you think functions just as well as the beast x.

Which way would you recommend going?

I can tell you that I flew Vbars on my heli's prior to joining KDS. I didn't have to switch and I had a MiniV on my 7.2 and I loved it and never used anything but a Vbar. After getting my 5.5 combo kit I decided to try the Ebar since it arrived with one. I can tell you straight away I was impressed with the way it flew and the simplicity of setting it up. It is very easy to setup and adjust and it holds rock solid. I couldn't be more impressed. For the functionality and ease of setup and programming, and the cost of $150 you simply can't go wrong.

As far as BeastX, I can't tell you how it compares but I thought I'd give you my 2 cents.

There are quite a few video's on YouTube regarding the EbarV2. Check out Nelson's video's.

Thanks guys. The Ebar looks pretty sweet. I liked my beastx that was in the AR7200 receiver but for the price I might just try this.

Ive been a mircobeast guy for more then awhile, i put the ebar on my 700
and WOW the setup is easy and the data pod makes it a snap, i can also tell the ebar holds and holds love the tail and say if you like or want to try my setting i can download my settings on the data pod and upload them to yours (OPTIONS) the ebar gives you that and also the ebar will grow with you and your flying style. Im going witn ebar on my next heli

Lozki, I couldnt agree more. I have ebar on my t500 and my 7.2 now of course. Its great. No plans to go to something else although I do like to fiddle so I am tempted to try a bavarian demon at some point, but only to play. The Ebar is here to stay.

I just finish assembling my 7.2 with my first ebar. I set it up but I haven't flown it yet. Can you send me your flying parameter so that I can have a starting point?

I have flown just about all the flybarless controllers - from the earliest Skookum and VBar units to the latest (not the Neo or Neuron).

The KDS Ebara is as good as any of them. It has a terrific tail and a very natural flybar feel to it.

Plus, it is very easy to set up too - on of the simplest in fact.

Overall, an excellent unit.
