Fail safe
Completing the set up of my freshly built 550x (my first build) and as Im setting fail safe It occurred to me.
I bought my 450 pro used and have just been flying it with the previous owners set up. So with the mains off and on the bench I give it low throttle and turn off the tx. Sure enough the rpms started to ramp up quickly. Holy crap!! Ive been flying all this time without fail safe set.. Im glad I caught this noob mistake before it caught me! |

good catch! I test the same way, blades off, set on the bench and kill power to Tx. It's a good safety measure for sure.
