Default 3 axis gimble on trex 450

I own a lot of Trex 450 heli kit and would like to put a 3 axis gimble on it such as the following:

Has anyone attached and modded anything like this ?

You could probably pull that off. Finding room to put it on, well. If you made you skids deeper and placed it under the main shaft.

yup, I will probably make a rig or something. I presume the gimbal has it's own gyro and it's powered by a 7.4v lipo

11.1v lipo for the 3 axis. I think you can pull it off. Balance is important. When the copter is on the ground and blades 90 degrees to the length of copter hold right under the main grip bolts. Lift up and check balance. Front to aft very important. Try to trim out an unbalance and wear out a swash bearing.

I'm interested in your progress. I think you could pull it off too. You need a mini photoship one setup. Under the skids would be your best to keep the weight low.
