You'll like the 3sx ;-)........

Take a look in the BD forum for some good info on setup and tuning(including downloadable settings for specific helis sizes from factory pilots). Read through the stickies first for a head start as there's a lot more to the BS3sx than the 3gx

A little late here, but here's some videos that helped me set-up my 3GX units. Never had any issues either.
I have since gone to all Futaba CGY750 FBL units except for the 450, which is getting a GPro. But in the beginning these videos were priceless. Mr. Lund did a fantastic job and I must thank him for his efforts.

Lots of help for BD3SX setup in here

Not flown helis for 10 years and this was my 1st FBL controller to set up on a 800 size raptor. Rescue is awesome.

Hope you get flying soon.

Thanks Woodsta. I already found this page and has helped me alot.

Now I have to extend my servo wires. Because of the different orientation of the connections on the controller my servo wires are a little to short.

Stuff is on its way to extend the wires.

Is it OK to solder the extensions to the existing servo wires?

Yes. I have done this before no problems. As long as your solder connections are good, you know there is a weak spot where the wire changes to wire with solder it can break easily at that point as long as its supported with heat shrink and its not a bend location, im sure you know what I mean.

You won't believe this...

Even with the BD3SX I got at least 1 degree pitch difference up and down.

My swashplate is absolute level at mid stick. Adjusting the servo linkages does not make any sence...

I'm lost... Don't know what to do next... There must be something completely wrong with my mechanical setup.

Please help!

Sander
