Default black Friday is coming!

I was just thinking today about how all my packs are wearing out and realized black Friday is a month away! So just a reminder to everyone else, save your cash and get ready for the crazy deals! Last year I wasn't prepared at all and realized it was coming only a couple days before.

Good point quinn. Wonder if I might score on some packs too? Could use a fresh set for the 6HVU. I see Revolectrix is making Silver Series - 70C packs now. Still, my trusty old Sky Lipo 40C keep chugging along at 1/2 the price.

i need fresh sets for everything. running my 3300's in the atom 5.5 with the scorpion 4025 was a big mistake. pretty much ended their life. it was lots of fun but i was peaking at 170 amps and my 3300's were not liking it at all. 3 minutes of hard flying and they were pretty hot. probably 150 flights like that. also was running 4400s on my 7hv with the 4530 which was also pretty tough on those. this time around ill just get 5000's for the 7hv and 550u and put the atom back to 430mm and stock motor so its not so hard on my 3300's shared with the 6hvu. i guess i cant complain too much. this year so far ive put about 600 flights on the 7hv, 400 on the 6hv and about 200 on the atom. average 200 cycles on each set of packs and thay are still going, just getting tired. especially with the new addition of the 4225 beast! it craves strong packs

planning to spend about a grand and get the best i can of 4 5000's and 4 3300's. stil not sure what brand. possibly optipowers. maybe pulse. gens ace have done decent for me but seem to be going down hill lately

Scary to think that a grand sounds like alot, but doesn't go very far towards (4)6S5000 + (4)6S3300.

Performance, durability, and price all considered, I've been most impressed with the Spyder packs. The only reason the Sky Lipos aren't my top rated pack is simply they are heavy. Most other 6S3300's weigh less than their 6S3000. But they hold up great.

now that i think about it, might be a good time to go 14s. if i happen to see some crazy deals on yge esc's, 7s capable charge setups, 7s packs, i might have to go for it. also would be nice to run my 550u on 7s. better start cranking out the overtime!
