Default PL8--canīt charge from car battery

PL8 working great with my PSU.
Yesterday I tried to charge from my carīs battery and it stopped (low current)
then I started my carīs engine and the same happened.
I have the low current on 10V.
Is there any other setting that I should check (modify)?

What's the message on the screen? "Low current?" Is there any more detail? What cell count and charge rate are you using when you get the error?

I was going to charge a 2200mah 3S battery @ 1C
It showed something lke "low current" <10v with my carīs engine running.
The input voltage showed something like 13.8v

Sounds more like low voltage. I would look close at the connections between the charger at the battery. Also if you are not on firmware version 3.31 it might be worth updating. There were some change in 3.27 (I believe) that helped when powering from a running car.

My charger is brand new. has the 3.31 software.
I connected the charger to the battery poles with the engine running.
Input voltage on the charger showed 13.7v.

Might be good to get exact text of the error message. If you purchased the FMA alligator clips, be sure they have a solid connection to the poles.
