Default 800 with Vbar, report

I setup a Mini Vbar at 5.3 pro on a guy's Trekker HV today. Near as I could tell it was built to stock spec except for the Vbar and Castle 160HV ESC. The collective slider in Vbar software needed to be down to 70% to get +/- 12 degrees. The cyclic slider was fine around 85% to get 8 degrees (inner hole on swash). Cyclic was very fast at 100% agility and 1950 rpm. The collective response was just a little sensitive. I suppose this was due to the 70% collective slider setting.

The ship is very floaty! It was pretty breezy and I could feel the wind moving it around a bit more than my Synergy E7. Anyway, I'm not too experienced with Align's bellcrank setup. I can't see a way to tame down the collective mechanically so you would have a bit more resolution in collective response. The servo wheels look like they can't really have the balls moved in any further without hitting the servo. Is that the case? anyone got any ideas? I'm interested in getting one of these but I'm waiting to see if any 'early adopter' issues to float to the surface...

If you want to add more resolution to the collective, you want the KDE direct main grip arm, this will also add more resolution to the cyclic, (maybee too much) so you can move the link to the outer hole on the swash, this will not affect the collective.

Thanks for that info! BTW, I forgot to mention that the canopy got loose from three of the four fasteners when our pro level pilot was wringing it out. luckily, it only came up far enough to catch the blade bolt nuts. The pilot heard the noise and immediately auto'd. There was some damage to the top of the canopy. If you fly hard, use the post pins that come with the kit.
