Default os 50hyper issue

Ok for the last few days my os 50 has had a issue. It seems that she wants to die or dies when it switches from the low needle to the higher needle? I have tried a new plug all kinds of needle settings Im lost Help needed? Thanks Doug

Give a bit more details. Are this happening when taking off for the first time or does this happen after a few minutes? How does the engine sound? Higher revs and leaner(very responsive but bog quickly) or rich and lower revs(not very responsive).

it takes off the 1st time fine, Flys fine then if I have to adjust something the radio I take the motor to ideal. then take off again then it will die. between the local nitro master and me we havent been able to figure it out. We have ran it lean and rich on both needles i dont know at this point.

Makesure that the carburator are clean. Check all your fuel lines, back pressure line from muffler and the pickup in the tank. Do a test and pressurized the fueltank and see if it keeps the pressure. It sounds like fuel starvasion or your idle screw are set to lean or to rich. Where are the setting at the moment? Can you attach a picture? Check also that all the engine bolts are tight and that the seal between the engine and muffler are leakfree.

Done all that but have to check the head bolts make sure they are tight: Im thinking it maybe the nitro it is a mixed at the lhs and it was a new batch of oil and Nitro. The needle positions have been changed to the lean then to the rich same thing now it is running at 1.5 minis two clicks and the low speed is at the factory settings. I even tried a no 7 plug same thing carb is clean and the tanks hold presure. The muffler to motor seal is good. there must be some thing I am missing. It flys great it just that it dies when goes for the low needle to the high needle. Thanks for your help doug

Yes, it can be the fuel. They can make mistakes while mixing and that will make it impossible to tune. Try a different batch. If that doesn't help, you must consider to check the piston ring.

Try a different batch fuel. Go back to factory settings with al the needles and work from there. Use a no 8 OS glowplug.
