The tags 01 has been discontinued. They have replaced it with the mini tags. To use the mini you will have to use the reciever adapter and a regular xbus reciever. The tags if you have it is fine but on it the gyro is not compatible with xbus. On it you will have to use the Pwm outputs and run jumper wires for all channels

I have the TAGS-Mini installed in my Forza 700. I used an RG731BX with long range satellite and X-Bus (X-Bus simplified the wiring greatly). There are downloadable parameters for the Forza 450 and 700 available from JR, which, in the case of the 700 were pretty spot-on (I have not tried them for the 450, as I have a V-Bar with X-Bus on the 450).

The setup is quite different, but easy to do (a bit of a learning curve, just as with any FBL unit). The gains for cyclic and the tail can be set up in the transmitter and controlled by the Flight Mode switch (bank switching).

The TAGS-Mini has a nice, fluid feel to it (reminds me of V-Bar). I like it enough that I purchases a second one.

I think nowadays you want to go for the TAGSmini.

BTW, it got upgraded and is sold with a diversity and full range telemetry remote antenna ("satellite") which makes a dedicated receiver obsolete even for large models and reduces the overall price tag quite a bit.

Yep that one will work. It is available in pieces in the US. You would get the tags mini and then RA02TL separately and then plug it in. You would have the same thing as that then. You can buy both at JR Americas
