Default Stick throw between 9C and 8103

Ok guys, this question is going to seem a little weird, but here goes nothing. Have any of you who have flown heli's on both these radios noticed that the JR sticks seem to need to travel further (total distance) to reach the end points of the throw? (For example full up elevator to full down elevator.) I've got small fingers and it seems to be easier for me to reach full throws on the 9C then it does the 8103 while using the finger thumb pinch technique. Just wondering if I'm crazy or if the throw really is different between these two units.

On a side note, anyone know if you can assign different servo ATV values to different flight modes on the 9C? For example 100/100 on idle up 1 and 90/90 on normal?

The difference in having to move the sticks further on one brand radio to another could be as simple as stick length. Longer sticks will have to be moved more than shorter sticks to acheive the same travel provided ATV's are the same. That is why most of the sticks are adjustable in height on radios.

I don't think assigning different value ATV's between different conditions is possible on the 9C.
On the 9Z it is possible to assign different values in every flight condition.
