Default Three blade tail

Anyone using on the pro with stock tail gearing? I saw one and was wondering if it would be a solution for the lower gear ratio.

I have seen many... in the scale world. And although there are other mods involved a multi blade heli is always fun to build and fly...
it is not cheap....

I flew stock gear set until this weekend when I stripped the front TT gears... and now I changed the setup... still waiting to fly it though... hopefully this Friday...

I have been looking at mods to get a higher tail ratio. I can go with 105's which is the cheapest but take a chance on contact with mains, or doing the auto and front gear sets. I understand that the frames must be slightly slotted to adjust mesh, how about the kde supports on this mod, are they needed? Last would be the three blade tail assembly and blades, which would be the most expensive. Just thinking out loud [emoji10]. What gear and tail drive set is needed for the 4:5 ratio?

I just got back from the flying field and today I made first flights with the higher tail speed... I'm loving it....

I fly scale to mild sport and this new tail speed was just awesome... this way I really got to fly the tail and the feeling was...well amazing. There was a "new" sound to the heli and the buzz was suddenly gone so I will definitely stick to this combo...

i was told 105mm will never hit the main blades because they have different phasing and so the will never touch each other.
i run smaller main blades and now 105mm on the tail and it solved my low tail authority issues for now.
i have a 2nd 600pro with front tt and autorotation gears changed, but simply replacing the tail blades seems as good as it. it is also an easier job.

Are you running the 700 vertical fin and mixed landing gear for tail clearance?

yes, longer fin.
both landing gears are 700's, but you can use only the rear one.
note that i'm running 570mm blades on this heli because i don't like the feel that longer blades have.
i was told 600mm blades will never hit the 105mm tail blades, though. i did some tests on the bench and it seems to be true. their phasing won't make a strike possible.
