Default Nano cutting out in spool up

My nano won't even take of little and motor cut in and out. It will almost take off but then will just shut off. Tried new batteries, plug connection, changed motor to brushless, still is doing same thing. Anything I'm missing

Make sure the gear isn't making the shaft too tight. Meaning that the bearings aren't squeezed between the gear and mainshaft collar.

Try a new tail motor. Could be going bad drawing to much current which shuts down the board.

You may have a main motor FET going bad.

sometimes my elevator servo gets stuck causing this same issue. i just give the little servo gear a nudge and it re-centers itself...she flies fine after that.

good luck

Sounds like you have replaced everything except the servos and your TX. Process of elimination I would supose.

Craig, while your here, might as well ask a related?

The mild bl nano I got (bought used from a guy who you built for a few weeks ago) is getting about 3 mins of medium use (a few flips, etc) before having to land (coming down with about 3.65-3.7v on newish stock batts). Is this about right?

On stock batteries, that is about right. I got some Hyperion 160's in today and they seem to have a bit more punch to them.

OK, thanks.

So would you recommend the Hyp 160's over stock?

So far but I haven't had enough flights on them to be positive about them yet.
