The big danger is cannibalising sales of the monumentally more expensive Ace One.

Safety is in the hands of the user regarding RTH in my honest opinion... Using auto hover or RTH as appropriate.

Eg, I almost always fly in big open spaces where it's only me, some grass and a few curious furry creatures... RTH is not particularly dangerous in this setting so I would use it. If I were to fly where there were more people or property in the vicinity I'd probably use auto hover.

I can agree with that...
But there is also a big danger having a large class helicopter just hovering due to LOS and having your flight packs run out..

I think I would much prefer to have the machine come back with in Tx range for a chance to regain control.

Vs.

Having it sitting out of range with no chance to regain signal and have it fall out of the sky.

I will order one on Monday and give it a shot.

This devise will not change how I fly, make me a better pilot or any of that, what it will do is allow me to fly with less attention to the attitude and allow me to focus more on the AP shots..hopefully

RTH would be a nice feature IMO

Has anyone flown with theirs yet? anyone thats not a beginner?

Sorry for the double post

Any flight reports from people that are not beginners?

I will be using it to allow me more freedom at the controls, less focus in maintaining level while flying away where LOS is still present but unless you are in a forward flight you really cant see if its level or not.

Hope it works as described and not MORE FOD issues as with the WKM, I cannot afford my AP machine to crash because of a cheaply made unit, its currently flying very well with the BeastX.

Thanks

lol.just pulling your leg! A lot of people on here, always joke around, how they have to keep it a secret how much they spend on the hobby. So if you have a wife that is that cool about it, good for you!

I could not agree with you more. How can you compare a 700 SRH coming back to you, trusting that the RTH will work flawlessly, verses a 450 quad. I am running for the hills.

That looks pretty solid thanks.
However I would like to see a video of it on a larger 600+ heli that has a much lower headspeed.

Perhaps on something on this size....

But the thought of the possibility of something this size stuck in a fail safe hover with no control and waiting for it to drop is a serious concern.

I understand why others are concerned about a large machine set on a RTH, But I would much rather have the helicopter closer to where I know the surroundings are safer than have it go down where I have no idea what damage it may do to people or property.

That is what I am talking about
For me range is not an issue as I won't be going more than 200 feet away. Houses is what I am more interested in and any future than that will be too far. Assisted landing would be nice. Suppose we will have to see the reports when they come out on the new Skrootum!

NAZA-H+GPS Autopilot System has GPS Module(optional), Attitude Stabilization, and perfect Flybarless System and Tail Gyro (Including Pirouette Compensation, Auto Trim, Suitable for Different Flying Styles, etc)

Naza-H will have more useful functions included according to customers' requirements, such as Neutral-Position Recordable and Semi-auto Take-off/Landing. We will have these two functions available firstly.

Regarding Return-to-Home and IOC some customers talked about in some forums, we don't have the plan at this early stage. Will make it announced here if we have the plan.
Yes I've already read the above. What I did say was "never" , the above does not discount the feature being added in the future or am I reading it wrong?

You could interpret the statement as you like..
But "never" and "if" run fairly close together in my book

Ok..
But "consider" is no closer than "if"..
Not trying to be a smart a$$, but until some type of firm answer is given.. as far as I can see it ..it's kinda like stringing a carrot in front a horse.

If the M version has the function I believe the H could have it as well, I'm fairly familiar with the "how to's"..
So that being said .. I'll sit and see "if or "when" it is "considered".
