Default Serial lipo configs?

Protos will be on order soon...

Planning on running a 6S config initally-- my other hobby is fast electric boating, and I have some 3S 2600mah packs (hyperions). Would paring up two 3S packs fit on the Protos? That way I could reuse the packs on the boats... or am I better off with dedicated 6S packs?

Now here's a crazy one-- I plan to eventually put this heli in a MD500 scale fuselage. I have about a dozen hyperion 35C 2S1P 5000mah packs. Any chance in &*^% that I could rig these up in a 4S1P 5000mah config with a pinion change? Aside from the space/weight issues, would I be pushing too many amps on 4S (scale flying, not 3D).

Thanks,
Chief

Pairing up batts is fine,my old hurricane ran 2-2200 3s pacs, as long as they fit and weigh in for cog.
As far as 4s, depending on headspeed, only so many pinions available.
