Default SAB Blades for Lepton

Hi,
these are the new lepton blades by SAB.
they are still a prototype version, but they works very very well. They are stiffer and with a better profile that the original ones. Also the cord is different.
We need only to do some modificatoin to the position of the cg....

Nice! Compared to the stock blades, they have a much wider cord. Hopefully it will translate to better lift and from the shape of the tips, less bogging and less blade noise/flutter.

So I know you guys are still testing them, but how does it fly compared to the stock blades?

[Hi,
the new blades are more aggressive that the original ones, and they are better on auto. They are very rigid wich make their response crisper.
The new airfoil and the wider chord works very weel...
Next week a should receive a new pair of blades with another cg position...

The final production version should be avaiable very soon....

Hey Dr. 3D, what is the position of the CG in the current blades you are testing? and on the ones you are waiting on receiving? How does the position affect the flight characteristics?

an inner CG gives quicker cyclics and less auto energy
an outer CG gives the opposite on both counts

is the CG in relation to the length-wise span or chord-wise span?

I want a set. I am not too impressed with the MAH blades. I know SAB won't let us down. Now just release it already.

after first crash, had the opportunity to have a look 'inside' the stock blades ... well ... does not appear to be very expensive material, considering this - they fly actually very well, but if they only would be cheaper.
