Default Arctic Silver Kontronik

Hi, I just bought a Jive 80HV and a 120 HV and the heat sinks. I bought some Arctic Silver 5 from a local computer store. I cleaned the new surfaces with alcohol and applied a small amount of the arctic silver and pushed the two together with a little twisting action. It has been a few days but it does not dry ? Does it need heat to cure or did I buy the wrong thing ? Should I have bought arctic silver thermal adhesive ? I could not find and at ready heli or a main hobbies etc. Thanks Ken

I bought some this week and the packaging is not clearly marked. Easy mix up!

Artic silver is not glue, only heat transfering paste. It will get a bit harder during time, but it wont dry out. It'll still be paste. I'll be using Artic Silver, toghter with glue among the sides to fix the sink.

Arctic silver thermal adhesive is epoxy.

The arctic silver compound is the paste!
