Default Blade Choices Thread

As we know, blades for stretched 450 size (340mm - 360mm) are harder to find than all the 325mm blades out there. In most cases you all will be pretty happy with the stock 350mm that come with the Warp.

Here is a cheap 360mm I found on Ebay. They look like they might possibly be from the same factory that made some decent blades I got from Hobby King.

http://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Pairs-360m...item257290b379

I'm not too worried about cheap blades on this size heli. I tried so many blades on my old 450 Pro. The reason you would want a 5 pair bundle is to check balance and weight, and to try a few pairs so you can set aside any pairs that might be flawed in some way. I might try em later.

OTHER BRANDS:
Edge 353
Radix 350

Wow! $10 sets/$36 360's...Versus $100/single set 700's. Gotta love the economics of the Warp. Could easily become Compass' best seller.

So far i have run the Compass blades, Radix 350 FB blades and the Rotortech 350s. in all honesty and not being biased the compass blades fly the best and are the lightest set, around 24 grams a blade, i have been able to run the highest gain on my beastx as well with them. second i like the rotortecks, they are a little heavier and a little heavier at about 29 g a piece. i had to turn the gain down slightly with them. the rotortech have also been pretty durable thus far. and i wasnt a huge fan of the radix 350s at 38 g a piece you could feel the weight.

How are the Edge 353's? Is Compass going to offer 360's?

I agree Dave, I'll probably prefer the stock too. The Ebay sets are supposed to be around 29g, same as Rotortech, but 10mm longer. (I also like the red paint!)

Keep updating info here after you experience different blades on the Warp.

in my experience with my stretched mini protos ill rate the blades in the following order.

1. edge 353 fbl- extremly fast cyclic and still stable in all types of flight
2. radix 350 fbl- not as agile as the edges or sab blades but they are butter smooth and stable make the heli feel more like a 500 size heli
3. sab 350 - even faster cyclic then the edges but a little to light make them unpredictable

Well I flew prototype yesterday. Stock blades are great. Mine weigh 23.3g each. They can be quick, but did not feel bad in any way. The rigid head is great. I prefer light blades to have the speed and pop, but use the radio/FBL settings to smooth things out if need be.
