Default replaceing main gear question

I found it really really hard to pull out the pin holding the main shaft and the gear, is there any easy way ? Or do I just have to pull harder?

Probably easier to push it out with a pin/allen key of similar or slightly thinner diameter until more of the pin is proud and you can get some grip on it with pliars.

You'll probably have to unsolder the tail motor and pull the wires through the boom, can't see any other way.

BTW the pin on the bottom of the gear is tapered. I always get them out by first pushing it through as far as it will go. They are quite fragile, grip it too firmly and you could crush it.
