Well... I finally got out to the bigger field and had some more space to fly.

I sort of crossed a threshold where I'm now confident enough in my basic upright and inverted orientations that I find my self trying things with my heli that, up to this point, i'd only dare to try in the sim. I gotta say.... really putting some sim time into upright and inverted stationary pirouettes has TREMENDOUSLY helped me all around in my flying. It's not a real exciting thing to practice, but if you can instantly correct any orientation to flatten the disk.... well that'll help you bail yourself out of a lot of sticky situations.

The "two pirouettes per flip - piro flips" still elude me. As do autorotations, but.... we'll get there.

Nice work! I'm right close to where you are, just a couple steps behind I liked the piro flips, good job.

Here's a flight that was recorded yesterday, flying my 450 pro. It was really dead calm, that made it possible to fly low and precise, and that boosted my confidence. I landed with an autorotation too, not very pretty, but it did the job.

Really great flying from all you guys!

Waiting for wind to calm down, perfect sunny weather, but too windy for my 250 and my skills.. makes things even worse.

just checking here... not sure if you understand that what you posted is a recording of your flight, not a video right?

yeah requires you capture the screen to video. one way is with a program designed to do this. fraps is what I use though it costs money for that software. There are other free ones but haven't played with any.

The other way is to literally just set a camera in front of your monitor and record that way. It can actually make for some really good video. Slyster has posted videos of his screen this way and at some points it's hard to tell that it is a video of a sim and not a real heli.

Here is me flying my beam e4. I still don't have all my orientations down and I am very
slowly working on them. I am practicing piro flips and some funnels. I can hover invert
all day long on the sim in all directions but in real life I always seem to avoid it because
of fear factor. If I can get through this fear I think it will be a step to quicker progress.

And here is another video that I try to focus more on my tic tocs. I still don't have them
all down yet but I am working on them.

I know its a recording raza, I just dont have fraps to convert the file. I will buy fraps to make things easier or do like you said and record my screen and post it on youtube...
