Default Zeal 430mm blades

Got a set of zeal 430mm blades. Really nice finish. On the Heli they feel amazing. The stops are a lot more precise. In fff it can feel the biggest difference. They are very stable without any bounce. I'm sold!

Default Zeal 430mm blades

Kinda of topic but how are the zeal on your x3? Compared to align or rjx if possible

I am comparing them to SABs and Revolutions (FB) on my NX4. They are very snappy. Track well in FFF. The heli is a bit quicker on the cyclics than teh SABs.

On my X3 the only major difference I noticed is in FFF. They fly very true. I only ever flew RJX 360s and that is my comparison. The Zeals track a lot better. I would highly suggest them.

I also got offered a set for my X5. The sample size was very small due to a dumb thumb. lol

Thanks Swoop! And welcome to the club. Maybe we can inject some life into this forum, it tends to get quiet in here.

I was amazed at the number of NX4s at Ircha. The people that had them said that its the machine that improved their flying ability. I flew with some guys from Buffalo that were amazing pilots and they both credited the NX4 with being the heli that pushed them to the next level of flying. I second that as well. Prior to the NX4 I couldn't do a lot of the stuff that I was doing at Ircha.

I got my set of 430's in the mail today along with a set of 325's. First thing I did was weigh them all compared to what I had been using.

On my carbon framed FBL 425 Hurricane, I have been running KBDD's. They are pretty stout and came at 792 grams. The Zeal blade weighed 676 grams. A hundred and sixteen grams lighter per blade or 232 for the pair. HOLY COW!

For comparison, my FB Hurricane's FB blades are as follows:
Edge - 610 grams
Revolution - 585 grams

The 325 Zeal's came at 328 grams compared to a brand new set of Align 325 "High Performance" blades (HD320ET) that tipped the scales at 272 grams. Fifty-six grams heavier per blade or 112g heavier for the pair. HOLY COW!

For comparison, the Edge FB blades for my FB 450 were 217. Yes, I have a flybarred 450 and Hurricane and a flybarless 450 and Hurricane and I know that FBL blades are heavier than FB.

I'm curious as hell to try them, that's all I really know!

PS,
I got a Zeal shirt too but here's a head's up if you order one. They run really small

I think you may be measuring grains not grams. That is cool that they are lighter nontheless.
