Sorry for not being around much the last few days. My Mother passed on Thursday morning Aug 29th.

Thanks Guys for all the nice comments its getting better day by day.... it just blindsided me since she was not ill and was alway up and galavanting with her friends... She went in her sleep so I do not believe there was any pain... Hope I go that way when my time is up.... we held what we called an Irish wake on Saturday to celebrate her life. That morning in between thunderstorms I sucked it up and solo'd a 172 in memory of her... I think both of my parents would have been proud. It was a good day

Glad to hear you have an overall positive attitude and looking forward. Lord knows it ain't easy.

Do you have any flying space over there by Clear Lake? You ever gonna fly over by Tomball anymore?

The closest official field would be over by Allens place. Non official I would say my backyard if I am careful.... its up against the old clear lake golf course, so I can fly circuits on the old fairway...
