Default Any Word on New Factory Nano Brushless?

I see the Nano has a discounted price.

When I have seen this before, it was to reduce inventory prior to
- The release of a new model
- Dropping a model altogether

I don't see them dropping the Nano

I just spent $115 on an Astroid Designs mild brushless kit and a tail brushless kit so the odds of a factory brushless Nano have just increased exponentially! However I do feel "lucky" because they were in stock! I just couldn't wait anymore!

Just got the mild kit as well, so probably soon. Although I'd rather get the mCPX BL over the NCPX BL.

I think it is closer than you think.

It would be nice if they offered a "Kit" for upgrading existing nano's.

I have a bunch of converted MCPX's that are worth a fraction of what they were before the factory BL was released.

Will the new Nano be 1s or 2s? 2 s would be awesome but I noticed 2 s lipos for the MCPX BL are more than double the cost of 1s Nano lipos.

I would think if they did a BL like the Mild kit with just the main being bl you could get way with a 1S.

I just got my 1600KV/ 125mm boom stock tail Nano going again the other day but now I need new batteries. I had 2 out of 5 lipos that made it past 3 minutes.

I had tried the 250 Mah 1S Glaciers last and they did all right just a bit heavy. I liked the way it performed on stock 150 mahs the best because of the lightness it just doesn't last long though, 2.5 minutes of crazy pop.

I never did try any of the 200 mah stock fit lipos. Might need to try some.
When I first went brushless I got the Hiperion 240's and they did fine but not as poppy as a good stock 150 mah lipo.

Got me interested now.
Did a serch on Google
nano BLH3326

Came up with this:
http://www.rc-heli.de/board/showthread.php?p=2656537

Translated (By Bing):

Motor KV: 14800Kv.

Motor BLH3326 MSRP €19,99
Regelr BLH3327 RRP: €21,99

Price Euro to Dollar)
Motor $ 27.19
Regulator (?) $ 29.91

Total: $57.10

THE ABOVE WAS POSTED BY HORIZON HOBBY, GERMANY

I have a couple of pjacq & Asteroid BL kit's,
They are great.
And priced about the same. maybe a little higher
But there is soldering & frame mods involved.

Plug and play drop in will bring a lot more people into the BL Nano community

The KV is about the middle between the Mild & Wild.

I know with my mild kits, w/o brushless tail, I have to fly the tail or it will blow out.
Maybe they are working on a tail upgrade as well.

I would bet with the blowout prices on the existing kits, this will be the next product offering.

At least they give us a choice, and did not abandon the existing airframe, like they did with the MCPX BL.

I know the MCPX BL has a lot of beefy parts, but I felt like I was stiffed after committing so much effort on the MCPX V1 & V2

If it is like the Brushless MCPX BL,

I heard about it 4 months before it was released.

Prob. not before Spring

That is pure speculation

As I read the German Post, it was a pre release notification.

They may want to release it in a smaller market (to find out any potential bugs)
before releasing it in the US.

They will want to have a large stock on hand, to supply all dealers at the same time.

That means a longer production schedule considering the size of the North American market

I know with the YS 120 motor, it was available in Japan & China about 3 months prior to US release, although Hatori Pipes were released earlier

Wow that looks great! I hope the esc is programable and has a gov. Arm mode to deal with the chance of TBO. With out that the TBO may be a pain in the ass! But just the HH out runner motor with a xp3A might be a sweet option. If you don't mind soldering!

How exciting can't wait! I have the pjacq double BL which will take a lot to beat! I also have an xtreme motor with their mount using an xp3A flies great in gov arm with v curves. Not tried it in gov tx mode as yet...

This just might be what all us micro lovers have been waiting for

Don't get your hopes up with the esc lol.

I wonder if the motor has bearings, and how much weight the setup adds.
