What are you guys running for fbl mains on the 800.

I have found zeal and sab (770mm) Are there others for 3d?

Thanks

Using original edge 813s, there are couple others

1. SAB Blackline 800
2. Align 780/800
3. Spinblades 800

I think the 770s would work but this is a big heli so it is best to stick with the 800s.

I have nothing to base this one, except a few coincidences, but I think Switch blades are the Edge blade molds.

Why?
- Same sizes as edge
- Same night blade sized as edge
- So many sizes so early in the release. Who can afford that many molds at one time.

Not saying that Switch being edge is bad, I actually thing is is good. But I really do not like the edge 813's. Maybe if they were FBL it would help.

Unfortunately, Not much of a market for that size blade. I have nothing against the Edge, I fly mostly Rails on all my stuff, except Zeal's on my 380 and Edge on my Logo 800 til???? Lol

I have tried the Switch 813 blades on my logo 800 and they did not fly the same or as well as my Edge 813's. They seem to be weighted differently and are definitely more stable than my Edge.

I'm using the 813 Switch blades on mine. I noticed that they are 290 grams a piece and my edge blades were 275 grams each. They were balanced well, but I seem to have a wobble in my rotor head.... totally different topic but without blades the heli wobbles on spool up with the head on and without the head on it's smooth. But the blades themselves are nice quality.

In case you’re into „banging/smacking-your-Logo800“, I can recommend these new BLACK BELT 785 by SpinBlades.

Got my pair today and took them on a test drive right away.

Those blades made my ‚big bird‘ almost feel like a 700’-heli. I like that aggressiveness!

– Don’t forget to readjust VBar first (optimizer)! Took me a few minutes until all banks got their settings right.

Greetings

Chris

Been using Zeal 800's on my bird for a while now. And will not buy anymore at least to this bird.

- Way too soft
- "Floppy" control, dolphin-effect suddenly appeared after switching to these
- Not at all as "snappy", feels "smushy"

Blades are a lot about "how it feels", and these just ain't right for me.

Will try Switchblades or Rail 806 next. RT's might be one opportunity, for some reason they just "don't do it" for me. It is after all a hobby, one's gotta do what one want's to do

I think the Rail 806 are one of the best options available now. I run them on my Protos Max 800 and really like them.

I have also heard switch 813 are not that great but haven't tried them myself.

I have used SAB blackline 800 (didn't like them much, chord is too narrow for me) and Align 800mm which are actually pretty decent. The Aligns are very wide chord which is nice for lower head speeds but they are more flexible than the Rails. So they are not crisp and snappy on cyclic like the Rails.

Rail 766 would be a pretty good option too if you were more into smack flying.
