Default What are good uses for throttle trim?

I was wondering for what people here use the throttle trim on the stock E-Sky remotes?

From my experience, it makes too small impact compared to the throttle stick and on the other hand the throttle stick is precise enough that settings from the trim can be emulated on it.

The only use I can see is to set the throttle easily between two notches, but latch removal mod is a much better solution to that.

So are there any creative uses of the throttle trim?

So 73 views and no answers? Does anybody here actually use the throttle trim?

AndreajaKo. Understanding Throttle Trim is still on my "To Do List". However, I can share with you that Throttle Trim only affects throttle; it has no effect on blade pitch. On my DX8 transmitter, I figured that the Throttle Trim only has an effect on the bottom half of the Throttle stick, and no effect whatsoever on the upper half of the stick. From the bottom extreme to the mid position of the Throttle stick, for every 5% increase in the Throttle stick, there is a 3% decrease of Throttle Trim range.

At 0% Throttle -- +/- 30% Throttle Trim range
At 5% Throttle -- +/- 27% Throttle Trim range
At 10% Throttle -- +/- 24% Throttle Trim range
At 15% Throttle -- +/- 21% Throttle Trim range
At 20% Throttle -- +/- 18% Throttle Trim range
At 25% Throttle -- +/- 15% Throttle Trim range
At 30% Throttle -- +/- 12% Throttle Trim range
At 35% Throttle -- +/- 9% Throttle Trim range
At 40% Throttle -- +/- 6% Throttle Trim range
At 45% Throttle -- +/- 3% Throttle Trim range
At 50% to 100% Throttle -- +/- 0% Throttle Trim range

I plan on researching this issue further, and I'll share any new knowledge.

Happy flying!
