Confused by the differences in instruction manuals
I don't have G-T5, but am trying to translate the manuals into Japanese for a friend of mine, and I've come to realize that there are two different versions of manuals are available on the Internet, JC6276 and JC6276V2.
There are differences between these two versions. Besides there being more side notes in JC6276V2 than in JC6276 to the effect that the manufacturer, Thunder Tiger, is not responsible for problems, one big difference I've noticed is that in JC6276 it is stated that the unit can be placed both horizontally and vertically, whereas in JC6276V2 it is clearly stated that the unit has to be fixed perpendicular on the gyro plate of one's copter. I've just started tranlating V2 manual and may find other differences as I go along. Has anybody noticed this and other differences in their manuals and their possible reasons for the changes? Any input would be most welcome. Thanks in advance. Akira Taniguchi from Osaka, Japan.

Go for V2 by all means.... however it is still confusing..
Yes, G-T5 can be mounted both horizontal and vertical. Just need to setup in "inst" menu. When you do the translation, you will have more questions. I suggest you read the user manual of AC-3X first. Which we believe they are from the same designer. The AC-3X manual explains important aspects in "readable" English. http://www.eheli-tuning.de/download/manual_ac3x_sw5.pdf Do you yourself fly FBL? If not, then it will be more difficult to first understand and then second to translate. Post any questions you may have. People here are Good Luck. Guruduck |

Hi, Guruduck,
Thanks for the link. I'll visit the site and will definately read that manual. It's good to know that the manual in question is more "readable" (^ ^). I wonder why they don't proofread their manuals before they make them available. There are so many errors!!! I fly FBL copters, 3 in all. They are MSH Stretched Protos with MicroBeast, MSH Stretched Mini Protos with MicroBeast, and TREX500 with Futaba CGY750, so I'm not a totall newbie to FBL systems. I'll post and ask for advice from you and all the other great people on this forum when I have any questions. Akira

V2 of the manual was also to address the Vibration filter settings as they had the min and max (0-5) around the wrong way - so you thought you were setting max vibration filtering but really you were setting no vibration filtering so nitro guys were having no luck with the gt5 till this was realized.
