Default Main gear wearing on the top portion of gear only

Anyone else having this issue?

Mine does the same... I think it's from rubbing the canopy in flight. Could be wrong.. But I see no other issue to cause it on my bird.

It is caused by the canopy rubbing on the main gear. Mine does it as well from time to time. Just wedge a piece of cardboard in between the main gear and the canopy and use a hair dryer on high or heatgun on low, and warm it up evenly till hot to the touch ( too hot will ruin the paint ). Allow to cool completely and then remove cardboard. Check clearance and have fun. I have to do this from time to time to keep the gear running free of the canopy.

What I do is put a wash cloth between the gear and canopy and use a heat gun lightly. Once it shapes some wrap the towel some more and repeat.

On mine, I've used tail blade spacers underneath the canopy mounting posts to move the canopy out as well.

Totally agree, my E5 does the same. I store it with piece of heavy foam between canopy and main gear, helps keep its shape little open
