Default G5 and 550 part support

We will continue to support G5 and 550 parts and will eventually improve it more in the near future.

Thanks for that Outrage! You have a very popular heli there.. and lately I've seen a surge of new members in the 550 forum.

Sounds more like a V2 situation.

Yep, Fusion 30 and Fusion 450 at some point. Outrage cannot dominate the world without a 550 and a 450

I'm not sure I understand. You will improve the support for G5 and 550 parts, some of the parts, or the whole G5 and O550 kits? Thanks.

Well , I really hope the Out of Stock 550 parts at HD will be replenished ( and soon too ! ) despite them concentrating on the Fusion . No ETA date available yet

Living in the remote parts of the world makes it difficult enough , so scouting for parts at other dealers just is not feasible

With google and a little tenacity you can find every part for the 550 right now.

But if helidirect doesn't have it, it's not new stock.... which means they aren't making it.

well two things.

1- stock up before stock runs out! I know I just bought 5 tails shafts..

2- I've heard they are concentrating on fusion stuff. Give it a month or two and they will start building more spares.

Yea but they should still make parts for what they have even if they are concentrating on new ones.

If you are in the middle of a production run of a certain piece, I seriously doubt a manufacturer would stop production and tool up for another part. They are trying to produce enough parts for the kits and parts to support the customers and hobby shops for a brand new product, as Slyster said, once the Fusion is released I'm sure they will go back and start catching up on other parts.

Slyster , my last sentence states the problem with scouting for parts.
International shipping for a single, much needed part from any other dealer than my regular ( HD) makes it rather silly . Shipping can be substantially higher than the cost of the part
Our group of flyers normally do a bit of a group buy , even if some only tag on a few crash parts, not immediately needed, thus sharing shipping in one parcel

Well don't buy anything but align then. Because this problem exists with pretty much every RC heli manufacture.

Fortunately since I live in Michigan, dammit, "I don't need me no parts now". My crash rate is zero...just like the OAT!!! By the time I would need parts (I didn't use any last season...I hope that doesn't jinx me) they will be catching up!

Well , this response misses the point I was making. I was not looking for an alternative, merely hoping that out of stock parts would be replenished at our regular dealers as ongoing support for the 550, at the same time as Outrage are concentrating on the Fusion .

I am building a Kasama Srimok 90n classic. And I am being driven nuts with this same problem. Its just my frustration boiling over. I just straight up got burnt by a retailer. And I had such a good experience with outrage and helidirect part support. They are pretty good in comparison when you start putting them up against other retailers and more exotic helis.
