Question S800, Zenmuse, NEX7 and 5.8 Downlink Problems
Currently running the s800 with the zenmuse Z15 and Sony NEX7 camera. My issue is that the 5.8Ghz downlink is terrible, seems I have more black screen than live feed, is this common? I do video and need a consistent stream to monitor and this setup is not doing it. Also doe's anyone recommend the FatShark system for this and if so which model. Any assistance in this area would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

What video gear are you running? If it's the 25mW VTx, it won't cut it. I'm using the ImmersionRC 600mW VTx with FatShark Dominators and a set of Circular Wireless SPW antennas. The quality of the link and range is excellent. I'm getting close to 1km quite easily. Antennas will make the biggest difference.
