Default OS105 HZ-HZR Hybrid

Hey guys, I have an OS105HZR and I would like to get rid of the regulator. If I replace the regulator with the standard fuel inlet nipple, what will happen if I continue to run the crank case pressure instead of the muffler pressure? I dont want to purchase a new bottom plate, so if it is going to cause an issue, can I just cap off the crank case pressure and run the exhaust pressure system?

Too much pressure for the needles to meter the fuel properly. Basically render it unusable. Seems to me simply run your muffler pressure line, and put a fuel line clamp/shutoff on a short piece of the backplate line. You could remove the check valve and cap it there. Or just put a fuel dot end plug in at that location.
