What do you expect when you buy from Helipross? They have a history of selling defective products..

I have bought from Helipross before with no issues, but I have never had to return anything.
That's very poor form from Helipross & I'm certain that by law they need to accept your faulty item for return at least for inspection by the manufacturer prior to repair/replacement.
After reading this I won't purchase from Helipross again.

I'll assume you paid with PayPal?
File a dispute with PayPal & I'm sure it will be sorted out.

MSN Helipross the link to this thread.

Politely describe the event on Align's FaceBook Wall.

Are you serious? Helipross told you to go to Align and they told you to ship it to Taiwan?

Wow, terrible terrible companies.

My 3G are working like a dream, no hassle with it from setup to flying. Just need to read a few threads and manuals and it will all be working again......

Im running three 3Gs on my 700's and they have all been great, no issues. The place you purchased it from (if they are reputable) are the ones responsible and should replace it if it is indeed a defective unit. I would go through the manual again or watch berts video and check and recheck all your connections again.

You should check Helipross return policy. This is the WORST customer service I've seen. They have to exchange a new one for you without any condition since it's DOA. They have to take care of their own shit. Hope everything works out for you.

I would be suspicious of anyone who rips off the name of another hobby shop.

this sound really weird. I couldtnt get my 3g to work properly and my local shop (rcpro.no) gave me a new one without question.

larsst185. I don't think that he couldn't get it to work but rather than he got a faulty 3g unit (positive opinion). It's basically dead on arrival and whoever selling this unit must be responsible for it. Been there and done that. I got a non working 3g unit a while back and brought it to the shop. No matter what they did, it just did not work so they gave me another unit.
BTW to the OP. Did you plug in the sensor to the 3g box unit and rebind it again ? Sometime it will not work without the sensor hooked up.

When you buy something DOA, then whomever sold it to you should replace it.
Tell them you want a replacement, call your credit card or Paypal dispute and put pressure on them to make it right.
I blame the reseller in this case, align usa is probably saying sorry casue helipross is not even an authorized reseller....

Heck I would have sold you a perfectly good working unit for $155.00. If it did not work i would have taken it back, tested it....

i dont see what all the big fuss is about, it should be down to the shop to replace it for certain. no need to come on here and slag the hell out of the product and the shop. i have a 3g on my 500 and 700 with no problems.

Ahhh... It took me awhile to understand that he didn't buy it from heliproz in the US, but helipross in Taiwan. So you buy a gizmo from Taiwan and you have to return it to Taiwan if it's defective. Actually that's pretty typical. Sure, it would be nice if you could get those great Taiwan prices and then get local support, but it rarely works that way.

legend 217: My point was that my dealer solved my problem even when my unit was not doa. I just couldt get it to work properly (there was something wrong with it). This is how a dealer should respond to a customers problem.

I have several units and all work great. Don't automatically blame Align. It could have been damaged in shipping or by the vender. It doesn't sound like your vender is handling the issue very well. Good luck.

I had a bad SK360 out of the box. Do you really think the other manufacturers never have a defective unit.

Just cant help myself.

If people(like MY customers ) would just buy from an american source this would be easier.

but .......AS ALWAYS......and I DO understand saving a buck, online shopping is all about the lowest and cheapest.

Unfortunate, ..........had a bad 500 unit from a customer, i WAS THERE to offer the support and we both concluded it was a bad unit............he was into another in 5 days.

I even helped him set it up and get it flying just the way he liked it.

For me.......i dont just SELL a product......I TRULLy give a S#$% ,as to whether or not my customers are happy with it.

Nothing like good ole customer support.

BTW, My name is JON and I own HELIWERX of San Antonio. Homegrown and local. I STILL do business upfront and face to face.

WEBSITE still under construction, b up after IRCHA.

sorry about the b ad luck man. Gimme a call if ya wanna do business the old fashioned way.PEACE!
