Power system is a hacker A40-12S, CC75 esc and 5s 4000 packs. Should give me just under 1000w. I expect the plane to weigh around 9 to 10 pounds. Full size servos all around, gyro on rudder (to help with takeoffs and landings).

thats gonna be nice when shes done. although i dont think youll need a gyro on planes, lots of guys that fly 30cc and bigger to 150cc around here dont fly with gyros, and we get some retarded winds in edmonton.

anyways, looks good and have fun. by the way where is the kit from.

Thanks! It's a CMP kit from nitroplanes.com, overall a very nice kit although some work is needed to make it just a little more reliable. Not gonna bother with the felt hinges and gonna go straight to robart pin hinges. The stock landing gear is a bit of a joke but I knew that before getting the plane and ordered the e-flite super cub 25e replacement right away. I opted for the balloon tires for the fun factor and the fact I can now land and takeoff from virtually anywhere.Click image for larger version

yeah fabric hinges are ok for small planes or trainers. haha, just kidding, the robart ones are tought to beat for realiability. i have a 1/4 cub with the monster tires on, yeah they go anywhere with huge tires. i saw the white gear in your first post and thought the kit must be really nice including that, but kits are kits and you upgraded it well with the scale looking gear.

all you need now is a go-pro and you can do some fpv video, ive always wanted to try it but never got around to it.
