If they continue to produce the Nano, I don't understand why HH don't simply make it brushless. I'd rather pay a bit more for the brushless motor than have the recurrent cost of frequent main motor replacement!

Then with the extra power the brushless delivers they could perhaps resolve the two most annoying weaknesses in the design, those being the flimsy canopy and weak skids.

If a stock bl version is released it will have to have a bigger battery than the stock. Flight time would be to short

Their Eflite 45C fits in the existing battery holder and does the job, and there 200mAh batteries out there to. But Yes, a bigger battery would be a must.

If they come out with a new BL Nano I suspect we will also see SAFE. It would be a smart move on their part. The HiSky HCP60 which is smaller than the Nano CPX will have a switchable 6-Axis gyro. Ultimate noob learning indoor CP heli that can accommodate your progression.

The Nano RTF with the DX4e never was a package that made sense to me...and I should know, it was my first CP heli.

Here's why I say that:

The person most likely to buy an RTF package is a either a complete beginner, or a learner moving up. They buy RTF because they don't already have a separate transmitter that will work.

The Nano actually can make sense as a platform for that learner...but not with the DX4e. You need a DX6i or better where you can tame down the response a bit while you learn.

There are plenty of people who can fly a Nano just fine with that DX4e...but it's because they already know how to hover and fly a CP heli. So they already have a transmitter...so they probably either don't need a tx for the Nano, or if they do, they will want something a little more flexible than the 4e.

Now if they had the Nano paired with the DX6i and especially if they threw in a sim like Realfight or Phoenix, then it would actually be a great package to learn on for those who don't have the option of outdoor flight and bigger copters. That would be an RTF Nano package that would actually make sense, in my opinion.

Not to mention that Blade's own advertising classes the nCPX as an intermediate heli

DX4e never made any sense to Me either

There are "cheap to produce" digital controllers with gimbals decent enough to fly CP and support preset rates if not adjustable rates and expo. The $25 WLToys & Hisky controllers are good examples. They don't have great gimbal resolution but it is good enough. They have a decent feel and full throw that translates well to the heli. If they make a "V2" Nano CPX Horizon can take that basic path instead of these wretched analog 4's and 5's they have out there. I don't know why they want to produce a RTF kit that is going to hamstring the heli and turn off the new customer to helis?

A brushless Nano RTF?? Sounds cool, but...

ONLY if they start offering the Nano RTF's with the DX6i, like they do with the yellow 450x.

It's great that they "can" program the as3x board to accept a 4ch input, but why "do" they? I think it's because they had a bunch of those 4e's laying around and needed to try and get rid of them. But I don't even see the RTF nano on HH's website anymore...

Any of the fixed pitch RTF Blades should come with the same radio as the 120SR, and any CP RTF heli should come with the DX6i.
