Great, will pick one up next week, that is if Hawk-RC has a store front, not just on-line only.

Hawk-RC has store front in USA ? I thought it is a online store located in Hong Kong.

To save an inverted pirouetting heli I think you best bet is to practice up on those half-prio flips followed by TH.

This month... difficult question.
But today I flew 11 packs on it, and I was able to get the tail belt out of one of the guides several times... and tail was just crazy shaking but still holding... amazing!

Am still working on my Warp 360. Any idea on how to get a tail servo running on 3GX with 2 sats? My AIL, PIT and ELE are responding, but my rudder is motionless. Am using Ds95i.

The servo won't move at all. I could not do anything even when I am in the rudder setup mode. I think I need to change some settings on my DX8.

Plug your rudder servo in to another port, one of the swash servo ports will work and test if the servo actually works.

It does not move since it is a 760us. I plugged a cyclic servo to the RUDD port and it moved - maybe because it is a 1520us. I will go to the rudder setup to do the 760us when I get home later - this time with the tail servo unplugged.

Nice day for flying today, put 26 flights on my birds (morning and afternoon session).
The two last flights on the Warp were low HS, 62% on YEP gov, enough to do funnel/hurricanes 8's, snakes and small loops. Flight times surprised me: 10,5 and 11 minutes, flying till 3.4 v/cell soft cutoff. So much fun, had already forget how nice is the Warp on low RPM.

What did you do with your warp 360 this month...
Quote:
Problems: MKS-DS 95i won't move when connected to the 3GX. DSMX won 't bind. Cyclic servos were having jitters. Setup: Warp 360 3GX 2 DSMX sats MKS-DS92A+ cyclic CC Ice Lite 50 CC BEC 10A DX8 Solutions: 1. Changed Frame Rate to 22ms DSM2 and re-bound ok. 2. Under Switch Select - System Settings. AUX2 assigned to GYRO. Everything else INH. 3. Under Function List, Gyro activated. AUX2 assigned to CH. And SW is ON. 4. With tail servo unplugged, I went into 3GX Rudder Gyro Setup. Moved the rudder to the right THREE TIMES till the STATUS LED turned solid RED. Exited setup. Plugged the tail servo. The servo now is responding. Went thru the whole rudder setup. All good now. Other problems I've encountered. 1. With just the Ice Lite 50 connected to the Throttle port, the sats will keep blinking red even after successful binding. The cyclic servos were responding but were not getting enough power because they were shaking. 2. The sats won't work using 11ms or 22ms DSMX Frame Rate. 3. Whatever I did to successfully bind the sats worked on my previous post, but the cyclic servos were having the jitters - twitchy movements. Things I've done that made the Warp 360 fly awesome now: 1. CC Ice Lite 50 connected to Throttle port. 2. CC BEC 10A connected to Battery port. 3. All the servos connected to their respective ports. 4. Sats connected to their ports. 5. Calibrated ESC as fixed point using CastleLink. 6. Calibrated 3GX throttle. 7. Went back to CastleLink and set ESC governor mode. N: 2200, IU1: 2600, IU2: 2800 rpm. 8. Of course, went into all 3GX setup modes. 9. Lastly and the most important thing was to ask help from you, Helifreakers! THANK YOU!

I finally got everything pretty much locked in with the bX on the Warp and it is flying fantastic. Flew my first backwards hurricanes today, and in about 15mph winds too!

The Warp is a nice little heli for windy days. It's weight helps it to track better in the wind.

Your not kidding, i went out yesterday and wind was 15knts gusting to over 20knts and the warp handled it easily.
I was so impressed with how this thing flys i am thinking of adding a second warp to the fleet. I think this time i will go with the Track X its a little cheaper than the brain. |
