egov seems to be released?

I bought a new vx1n from amain about a month ago. The first thing I did was install the interim governor (which works very well on my e700!) but after going through the setup process it just didn`t want to work properly. Finally got frustrated and reset the unit to factory settings and checked the info, it is version 3.50 with egov preinstalled it seems. I should have looked at that first I guess?! Was on the Spartan site on Saturday, they still only have v3.00 available for download that I could find. Well I gotta go finish setup on the new mostro and hopefully maiden the beauty

Did you set the PID values for the eGov to their default values when you first loaded the beta version and set it up? When you first load the beta the values for these are all 0, meaning it is effectively off no matter how you set up the rest of it.

Since the defaults are set by pushing the + and - buttons together, changing them from 0, the values in the loaded beta, this suggests they are stored as default values in the normal way, and a global reset to all defaults would set these too.

I haven't tried this, but it would make sense and fit your symptoms.

after you've updated the unit version , it won't go back to the previous version when you do the factory reset , factory settings will set back all the setting you've done back to default but not the unit version

Yes i red that too, Angelos did say the next update will be V4 and coming end of March / beginning of April.
