Default DJI WKH backward drifting

I have DJI WKH without GPS module installed on my T-REX 800 E Trekker. I've been noticing backward drifting which need to be compensated by pushing the elevator stick forward more than usual. How do I correct this irregularity without the forward stick compensation ? The heli seems to have no issue with CG and I am only using two 5000 mAh batteries as it should be. Should I adjust the link at the swashplate to correct this or reconfigure the settings via DJI Assistant software? What is the best way to dot this ? Thank you in advance.

I have the same problem with a Terx 550, and I asked the same question on Runryder. They say to do it with the linkage rods, not in the tx. It is a little confusing because the manual says on your test flites you can trim in the tx and then go into the program and reset stick centers, then set trim back to zero. I have friend that says this can cause a crash. Here is the link to RR http://rc.runryder.com/helicopter/t726877p1/

Irrace, does your friend have a Naza H? I agree with Chris Bergen set the mechanical first. at 50% pitch, the servo arms should be at 90 degrees and the swash level. There should be very little adjustments in the Tx or the software. I followed this advice a long time ago when I built my first 700 and it flew well though I did not.

Irrace, thank you for the suggestion. Looks like I will try the mechanical adjustment of the linkage rod first. That should be easiser than going the software route.

My friend has both, but this question was about the Wookong H. I agree the mechanical should be right first, but if you need to adjust you can do that with the rods.

I just put my Align 500 back together and I am going to be going to it all again. It takes me forever to get a heli set up. Some guys might be able to race through it, but I do it once and then second guess myself and do it again. Let us know how this turns out for you.
