Glacier 250mAh 20C for Wild?
http://www.buddyrc.com/glacier-20c-250mah-1s-molex.html
Anybody ever try these on a wild or mild setup? Is there a skid that it fits into? |

The extreme skids will work. I don't know how well they work with the wild

Wild lipo
I found 300 mah 45C Oversky lipos recently. The fit mcpx skids and thus work well on Yannick frame nano.
Dylan has a bunch of these batteries on order. Be patient. Oh, And these are the best lipos I have found for wild nanos or Black Dragon mcpx

Wow, 300mAh is a huge battery for the nano. I'm sure it has plenty of power, though, since I've used the 200mAh 35C Oversky's and love them. I think there has to be a balance between weight and power, though, right? Are others using that big of a battery on the wild? I'd rather have good 3 min flights than heavy 4 min flights.

The Hyperion 240 weighs 7 grams and these 300mah Oversky's weigh 8 grams.
For one more gram I get a LOT of power for 4 minutes. That power makes the bird feel a lot lighter. I like them.

I use those Glaciers on my Wild and love them. They seem fit the bill of power vs weight. They def make the nano feel a little 'heavier', but that's not necessarily a bad thing either.
I use them in KBDD mcpx skids (with the front pin not inserted, the canopy keeps the battery in place). One thing with these though is that I find I have to push them in only a little into the skid batt holder (with the black plastic part of the batt being about even with main shaft) to get correct COG. |
